The PAPS'N'SKAR project came about after a reunion
between long time school friends Emanuele Cozzi aka Paps
and Davide Scarpulla aka Skar.
Paps, already a familiar face on the Italian and
international music scene with past experience as a
member of CO.RO (responsible in 1996 for Because The
Night), is a sound engineer at Radio Monte Carlo.
Skar, also a technician at Radio Montecarlo, is
relatively new to the music industry but equally
talented.
Working together, the two came up with the strong and
catchy melody of Because I'm Free, and with the aid and
cooperation of Italian musician Davide Di Lernia they
were able to create the sound that they were looking
for.
Linda Peverini, another old friend of the duo,
interpreted the vocals in a somewhat angelic manner and
the finishing touch came with the insertion of the Hook
sample taken from One Step by Kissing The Pink.
