│ This Nottingham label has, over the course of its first ││
│ three releases, found itself in all the right DJ5 record ││
│ boxes and charts. And itÆs no surprise, all the EPs so far ││
│ have been super versatile house selec-tions that work in a ││
│ variety of situations. So, release number four, following ││
│ the splendid æNew Century SwingsÆ EP is filled to bursting ││
│ with the same wholesome ingredients. æEmpty HeadÆ is an ││
│ absolute gem, well-thought out percussion, a deep and ││
│ enticing bassline, some delightful moody strings and a ││
│ squeaky noise, possi-bly nicked off a Swag record 09. It ││
│ works a treat. Elsewhere on here, the same tasty beats, ││
│ melodies and vocal snippets conspire to provide you with far ││
│ better than average house music tools. So put that eight ││
│ quid import with one half decent dub back in the rack, and ││
│ get a piece of this. ││
