So here this unique artist has a three track 10" EP and it's
quite different from previous works. It's far less stripped
back yet still retains the intimacy. 'Frog Shouldering The
Town' is more upbeat than usual and has overdubbed vocals.
What's really nice is how the music drums up a magical feeling
that transcends the language barrier. There are some backwards
effects and percussion that all create something very
psychedelic indeed. 'Nuevo Mundo' is more acid tinged folk
with dreamy vocal and strange guitar sounds that evoke a
mystical almost spiritual feeling.The cover has a beautiful
painting on the front and lovely drawings on the back. All by
this multi talented and unique artist who does all vocals,
cuatro guitar, electric guitar, quena, bass and percussion.
This really sounds like no one else. Highly recommended!
