Traversable Wormhole has been one of the hottest mystery artist projects /
series in the techno scene for the last several months. Finally coming out of
the wormhole to reveal himself in 2010. We find it to be none other then
legendary NYC techno pioneer Adam X. Adam's "Traversable Wormhole" is now
stepping up to Vol 7, keeping the series fresher then ever with more new sound
innovations in sci-fi techno and dubstep. Resolutely darkside techno
transmissions from Brooklyn via Berlin. This 12" follows his recent remix
excursion for "To Rococo Rot" with two reassuringly heavy and purposeful
jack-offs. "Subliminal Warp Drive" matches galloping NYC warehouse kicks with
sophisticatedly darkside atmospheres for creepy 7am in-the-thick-of-it feeling,
while "Centauri Dreams" rolls with an offbeat syncopation designed for those
emptier moments on the floor when you can fill the space with trippy reverbs and
cinematic sonar bleeps. Traversable Wormhole has been played from a huge variety
of Dj's from around the globe. This list includes world famous dj's such as
Chris Liebing, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Mathew Herbert, Andrew Galluzi,
Surgeon, Function, Frankie Bones, Rolando, Kirk Degiorgio, DJ Deep and a whole
lot more!
