Release Notes:
PENDULUM made one of the biggest breakthroughs of recent years with
their hit album æIn SilicoÆ. Having sold over 1 million records
worldwide, the band completed a sell out Academy tour in 2008 and went
on to smash the international festival circuit last summer with killer
appearances at GLASTONBURY, DOWNLOAD, V and GLOBAL GATHERING to name a
few. Both Pendulum studio albums to date û æIn SilicoÆand the bandÆs
debut æHold Your ColourÆ û have gone Platinum.
Now theyÆre back with their most visceral and enthralling work with the
album æImmersionÆ thatÆs set for release on May 24th. The first taster
of the album will be the single æWatercolourÆ thatÆs due for release on
May 3rd.
æWatercolourÆ heralds a glorious evolution in the Pendulum sound. Now
utilising a richer sonic tapestry than ever before, the sublime
æWatercolourÆ finds Rob SwireÆs vocals alternating between eerie
distortion and full-blooded energy amidst flourishes of horns and an
atmospheric, tension building breakdown. The trackÆs progressive
structure highlightÆs PendulumÆs growing strength in constructing
contrasting dynamics.
