Oh yes yes - now this is the shit we're talking about. Jus-Ed presents an
obscure, out and out killer one-sided twelve. "Don't Stop Da Dah Da!" is the
track to head to, a vintage Detroit sound given an assymetric tweak courtesy of
this gifted producer, sort of like a more crisply produced Omar S joint,
brilliantly clever with the percussion and using all those strings that can't
fail to hit those emotive pressure points. "Fuck It" is more spannered : a
hollow percussive line lends itself to a skewed piano and midnight sax, all
chewed up and spat-out Jus-Ed styles. Killer twelve!
Side B has grooves and sections, but presents no sound.
