Release Notes: ░██▓
██▒
3 man group from Los Angeles California, holdin it down ██░
since 98. La Paz is Kool Aid (nephew of Cesar Chavez), DEZ ██
and DJ Sloe-Poke. ██
██
This is the proper 2003 CD release of Earwigs, including the ██
interludes that were on the first released tape and full ██
songs from the CD and vinyl. This was released ██
independently, mainly because Kool Aid said signing to a ██
major label would have meant compromising their message, for ██
instance being forced to rap about cars, money and what's ██
"jiggy". Their philosophy: rapping is a gift given to MC's ██
so that they might make the world more aware. Earwigs is ██
their self-produced debut album, heavily tinged with the ██
themes of social justice and peace, as well as a jazz ██
influenced sound. Don't sleep on this, peace and fuck the ██
dumb shit. ██
