▐████▌ ▄▄▓▓█▓▌ What is Go Go ? Well its a hybrid of ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀ Funk/Hip-Hop sorta performed by bands in ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▀▀███▀▄█████▀ the Washington, DC area. They use melodic ▀█████▄
▄█████▀ ▀▄▄ steel drums over usually the newest rap ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ and r&b lyrics (they do orginal songs ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ too though) which get the crowd ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ dancing all night long. ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ ▀█████████
▀▀██▄ Here it is one of the few retail Go Go ▄██▀▀███ ▀ ▄
▄▄▄▄▄ ▐██▓ albums of 2003 brought to you by none ▓██▌ ████▄ ▄█▌
▀ ▀▀███▄ ▄▓▓█▓▌ other than RNS! ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
▐███▌▄█████▀ ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▄ ▄███▄█████▀ Its presented by DC's own DJ Flexx (not to ▀█████▄
▀▀███▀██████▀ ▀▄▄ be confused with NYC's DJ FunkMaster ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ Flexx hehe). His words on this project: ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ "Being the 'Go Go Ambassador' I wanted ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ to find a way to showcase all that Go Go ▀███████▀▓▄▄▄
▄▄▄ ▀▀██▄ has to offer. I wanted people, who in ▄██▀▀■ ▀████▄
▄████▀▀▀▄ ▐██▓ essence turn there noses up to Go Go, to ▓██▌ ▐▌ ▐████
▐████▌ ▄▄▓▓█▓▌ find their Go Go niche. Whether you are ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀ a fan of rap, r&b, or reggae I wanted to ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▀▀███▀▄█████▀ show that there is a Go Go sound for you. ▀█████▄
▄█████▀ ▀▄▄ www.thatgogo.com is just that! It is a ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ historic view of the origin of go-go ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ music where it is, where its going as ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ well as showcasing its versatility."....▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ ▀█████████
▀▀██▄ DJ Flexx also has recorded songs with ▄██▀▀███ ▀ ▄
▄▄▄▄▄ ▐██▓ such artists as Groove Theory, Salt 'n ▓██▌ ████▄ ▄█▌
▀ ▀▀███▄ ▄▓▓█▓▌ Pepa (u know the ditty "My Mic Sounds ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
▐███▌▄█████▀ Nice"), and Funkmaster Flex. One day I ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▄ ▄███▄█████▀ hope maybe the scene will get into ▀█████▄
▀▀███▀██████▀ ▀▄▄ releasing alot more of this untapped ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ gerne of music. Now that I live up the ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ coast away from hometown I dont have ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ as much access to this music :( ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
