Release Notes:
Villa Nah release debut double A-side Running On / Ways To BE through
Moshi Moshi on 10/05. Villa Nah are Finnish duo Juho Paasosmaa (Vox)
and Tomi Hyyppa (Synths). They take their name from the east Helsinki
suburbs where they grew up and descrive their sound as "music about
dreams and time". A single on Finland's Keys Of Life label brought them
to the attention of Moshi Moshi and they join an esteemed list of Moshi
Moshi Singles Club alumni. Villa Nah cite influences as diverse as
Sonic Youth and Yellow Magic Orchestra, and conjure up glacial
soundscapes synonymous with their homeland. Ways To Be was crowned song
of the year and Finland's Dance Awards in February.
