The always brilliant Ramadanman turns up on Hemlock, housed as ever in a
sumptuous sticker-bound sleeve for two tracks of skewed rhythm. The producer is
quickly becoming one of the prime operators out there, with a thrilling
disregard for genre. He has a liquid skill in manipulating analogue percussion
bursts into patterns that touch on 2-step, juke, house, Funky and embedding them
against warm, soulful garage-vocal snaps and melody lines.
