? ? DJ Helga was born in Moscow on October, 9, 1975. Her ? ?
? ? real name is Kucherenko Olga. From tender age Helga ? ?
? ? tested bent for to electronic music, but first ? ?
? ? attributes of the vinyl illnesses have appeared only ? ?
? ? after acquaintance to one Moscow Guru DJ. The first ? ?
? ? experience of club game has taken place in two months ? ?
? ? after purchase of the turntables - in February, 2000. ? ?
? ? Vinyls for that moment sufficed equally on one set and, ? ?
? ? delay of the following DJ was equivalent to accident. ? ?
? ? Now, later 3 years, the collection counting more then ? ?
? ? 600 vinyls and the smell of a cardboard from new one ? ?
? ? constantly soars in an apartment. Since 2000 Helga was ? ?
? ? a resident in a coffee house "Moscow-Berlin". Together ? ?
? ? with experience were found new familiar, and began a ? ?
? ? stage club dj-ing. Since 2001 a permanent job in club " ? ?
? ? Mix ". Helga acted in many Moscow clubs, and also in ? ?
? ? New York, Riga, Vilnius, Klaipeda and other cities. At ? ?
? ? present Helga is the resident of the best club of ? ?
? ? Moscow - "Mix", plays by "ship" where pass parties ? ?
? ? under name "Rynda", and also displays sound patiences ? ?
? ? in cafe "Sheezlong ". The musical format is various ? ?
? ? enough: also varies depending on places of performance ? ?
? ? - from a deep-house up to electro and techno. ? ?
? ? ? ?
? ? Taking river trips on pleasure boats seems to have ? ?
? ? become a favorite pastime among Muscovites. This is ? ?
? ? easy to understand considering the attractions of fresh ? ?
? ? air, good company, minimum stress (unless you fall ? ?
? ? overboard) and maximum fun, including music, dances and ? ?
? ? a bar. But the situation is getting out of hand: If the ? ?
? ? popularity of "river hangouts" continues to gain ? ?
? ? momentum at this pace, the Moscow River will soon be ? ?
? ? jammed. ? ?
? ? Floating nightclubs, in particular, seem to have become ? ?
? ? enormously popular in Moscow this summer. At least five ? ?
? ? such clubs boast their own musical and entertainment ? ?
? ? styles, including house, rock, trance and even ? ?
? ? transvestite shows. ? ?
? ? One of the oldest floating clubs is Rynda. It sets sail ? ?
? ? on the Moskva-28 riverboat from the pier opposite the ? ?
? ? Rossiya Hotel every Friday and Saturday at 11 p.m., 1 ? ?
? ? a.m. and 3 a.m. Apart from the fresh river breeze, ? ?
? ? Rynda's attractions include cheap alcohol and popular ? ?
? ? DJs Kubikoff, Helga, Zorkin and Sanches. Surprisingly, ? ?
? ? face control is as strict as at such upscale clubs as ? ?
? ? Zeppelin or Shambala DJ Bar. But thanks to that, the ? ?
? ? mood is cool and relaxed. ? ?
? ? Another floating hangout, which has furrowed the waters ? ?
? ? of the Moscow River for several seasons now, is Avrora, ? ?
? ? a vessel once popular with some members of the Russian ? ?
? ? government. She is fitted with mock cannons and ? ?
? ? generally furnished to resemble the historical Avrora ? ?
? ? Cruiser, which started the 1917 October revolt. The ? ?
? ? original is now permanently moored in St. Petersburg ? ?
? ? but her namesake sails from the pier opposite 10 ? ?
? ? Krasnopresnenskaya Nab. She leaves every Friday and ? ?
? ? Saturday at midnight, returning to the pier several ? ?
? ? times in the interval from 1:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. On ? ?
? ? Fridays, it hosts gay parties with transvestite shows, ? ?
? ? "Rechnye Stervy" (River Bitches), and on Saturdays it ? ?
? ? is devoted to trance-music fans. ? ?
? ? The Boat is a floating club that has sailed the Moscow ? ?
? ? River for two years now. It is part of a project called ? ?
? ? "Live On The Water," developed by Nash (just Nash), the ? ?
? ? art-director of the Rhythm-n-Blues Cafe and a soloist ? ?
? ? in the rock band Blast. The Boat sets off every Friday ? ?
? ? between midnight and 2 a.m. on the Moskva-51 riverboat ? ?
? ? from the Krymsky Most pier on Frunzenskaya Nab. The ? ?
? ? entertainment program includes live concerts by two ? ?
? ? rock bands and Blast, not coincidentally, usually ? ?
? ? performs as the headliner. Concerts take place on the ? ?
? ? lower, roofed deck, while the open-air upper deck hosts ? ?
? ? discos in the style of the 1970s-1990s. Since The Boat ? ?
? ? opens at 10 p.m., most of the crowd gets drunk by ? ?
? ? midnight when concerts begin. ? ?
? ? A special nightlife event this season has been the ? ?
? ? appearance of the floating dance club SeaZone. The ? ?
? ? brainchild of Sixteen Tons, SeaZone is equipped with ? ?
? ? two dance floors (one on the upper deck and one on the ? ?
? ? lower deck), a chill-out room and a bar. It sets off ? ?
? ? from the pier beside Expocenter every Friday and ? ?
? ? Saturday at 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Spinning at ? ?
? ? SeaZone are the best Muscovite DJs, including Rudyk, ? ?
? ? Bobroff, Berg, Jeff and many others. Several times a ? ?
? ? month the club hosts Barcelona Sound parties in the ? ?
? ? style of the annual festival SONAR. Coming up this ? ?
? ? summer are concerts by Tito (August 2), MouseUp (August ? ?
? ? 16) and Javi Trigo (August 30). ? ?
? ? One more floating club, Korabl, arrived this summer. It ? ?
? ? sails on a refurbished Moskva riverboat that departs ? ?
? ? from Kievsky Vokzal's pier not far from metro station ? ?
? ? Kievskaya. Korabl has made only two voyages since the ? ?
? ? beginning of the summer. The best source of information ? ?
? ? about upcoming events on Korabl is the Web site ? ?
? ? www.korabl.ru. Judging by the crowd and the atmosphere ? ?
? ? on Korabl, it appears to be a floating affiliate of the ? ?
? ? nearby rock club Tabula Rasa. ? ?
? ? Now that you have all the necessary information you ? ?
? ? should have no trouble choosing a Moscow River voyage ? ?
? ? that suits your tastes. ? ?
