In the last five years or so the masterful works of early Radiophonic pioneers
Delia Derbyshire, John Baker, Daphne Oram have received their dues; lavish
reissues and scores of new fans. One of their contemporaries (not technically
affiliated with the BBC) is Tristram Cary. A genius, eccentric computer music
trailblazer he also invented the iconic VCS3 synth (to be used by Eno, Pink
Floyd in later years) and co-founded the important EMS Electronic studio.
Presented here in typically lush fashion is a Trunk retrospective of his lesser
known, endlessly rewarding electronic miniatures. Essential material.
