Ardisson is back!!!!!! this new release drops after huge "Ardisson ep" in 2002,
which demolished many a dance floor when it was unleashed. "Hardware Handshake"
drops you once again into the madness that is Ardisson, four tracks of bleepy
beaty electronic dance is yours for the taking. Lets take a l.i.s.t.e.n....
The tempo picks up for "Stop!",with the garage feel, reverby clicks and synths
piss away towards the listenener. The spooky vocals "stop fucking with my head"
add a spooky underground feel to the track, whilst sections of beat smash into
each other and fall into the mix, which then all build up into a bassy garage
electro waterfall.
The smooth subby bassline continues to grind along with the slightly rave like
melody as the dancefloor fills, as not one person can resist the chaos that
Ardisson is outputting. Damn fine.
"Only touch the right people" is the warning for track 4, as it opens with a
banging, sparkly, subby as crap bass, with some unscrambled computer language
elegantly laid over the top. A smashattack harsher bassline takes over and you
are drawn into the massive audio battle. A zingy acidrave sub bassline rolls
with you as all the levels of the track play in unison, vocals can be heard but
are hard to make out, as the track pulls itself into a static glitch ending.
"Its a fine line" clicks and 8bit croaks a very zingy synthy tune, with a
squelchy ghost house theme to it. This could be the crazy theme tune for an
abandoned funfair. Pingy snares and reversed scratches jump around whilst the
equipment comes to life, duck as the the arcade machines stagger towards you,
bellowing at you in their zappy language.
Even what sounds like a drunk bagpipe, joins in with the fairground insanity.
Try not to wear out your ankles jumping around to this one. Excellent.
Jump into the mind of a frog, this frog was sitting peacefully in the cave,
until ardisson decided to perform a live set.
"Can you keep up" is here , prepare for the bassline that wakes everyone up and
sticks in your head for the next few days.
The output echoes around the cave with a very watery electro effect. Glitches
and zaps run alongside pounding away, there is a underlining garage feel to the
track which then develops into an r-type soundtrack, still, with the memorable
bassline inflicting damage throughout. Can you feel it?.....
Amazing. Ardisson now has the status, that makes you just purchase the releases
without beforehand seeing any review, you just know it will be killer, "Hardware
Handshake" is a killer ep, dont just take my word for it, go get it.
