   ▓████▓▌       career he ended up backing "the Sparrow" Edith Piaf       ▓▌
   ▓████▓▌       and performing with the legendary Hot Club of             ▓▌
   ▓████▓▌       France Quintet. He helped create the accordion-jazz       ▓▌
   ▓████▓▌       style known as manouche.                                  ▓▌
