▐████▌ ▄▄▓▓█▓▌ Noises emitted from the Movietone camp ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀ have been faint for some since our last ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▀▀███▀▄█████▀ record, but we have been busy. So heres an ▀█████▄
▄█████▀ ▀▄▄ update of whats happened and whats ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ happening. ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ Geographic are planning a re-release of ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ the self-titled first album, Movietone. ▀█████████
▀▀██▄ Originally brought out on Planet Records ▄██▀▀███ ▀ ▄
▄▄▄▄▄ ▐██▓ way back in time, it compiled all our ▓██▌ ████▄ ▄█▌
▀ ▀▀███▄ ▄▓▓█▓▌ first recorded material. Since then ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
▐███▌▄█████▀ people have been interested in it, but ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▄ ▄███▄█████▀ as not that many were made, it was quite ▀█████▄
▀▀███▀██████▀ ▀▄▄ hard to find. The re-issue will have ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ extra packaging and will include all ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ the singles we did on Planet. ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ Hopefully people who never heard it the ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ first time around can get into it. ▀███████▀▓▄▄▄
▄▄▄ ▀▀██▄ ▄██▀▀■ ▀████▄
▄████▀▀▀▄ ▐██▓ We are also recording tracks for a new ▓██▌ ▐▌ ▐████
▐████▌ ▄▄▓▓█▓▌ record coming out this year on Domino. ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀ Part of this record was recorded on a ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▀▀███▀▄█████▀ beach in Cornwall, with extra band ▀█████▄
▄█████▀ ▀▄▄ members. Ever tried carrying a full ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ bands instruments including a double ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ bass down a cliff? It was all worth it ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ though. We are finishing the rest of ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ the material in Bristol and we are all ▀█████████
▀▀██▄ really excited about it, but I wont give ▄██▀▀███ ▀ ▄
▄▄▄▄▄ ▐██▓ too much away. ▓██▌ ████▄ ▄█▌
▀ ▀▀███▄ ▄▓▓█▓▌ ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
▐███▌▄█████▀ We have played this new material in a ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▄ ▄███▄█████▀ few rare gigs this year. With Maher Shahal ▀█████▄
▀▀███▀██████▀ ▀▄▄ Hash Baz in Bristol and at the ICA in ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄

█████▌ ███▌ ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ The regular Movietone people have been ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ busy doing their other things. Crescent ▀███████▀▓▄▄▄
▄▄▄ ▀▀██▄ will have a new record out on Fat Cat ▄██▀▀■ ▀████▄
▄████▀▀▀▄ ▐██▓ this year, and will be touring. Other ▓██▌ ▐▌ ▐████
▐████▌ ▄▄▓▓█▓▌ connected bands are The Balky Mule & ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀ Many Fingers who will also have material ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▀▀███▀▄█████▀ out this year. ▀█████▄
▄█████▀ ▀▄▄ ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ Movietone members can also be heard on ▓█▌ █████▌
