2009 three CD compilation, released to coincide with Island Records 50th
Anniversary. Out Come The Freaks is a box set of Pre-Punk, Post-Punk, New Wave,
No Wave, Junk-Funk and leftfield jottings from the margins of Island Records
1972-2008. Each of the discs in this set are themed as follows: Disc One - From
Art Rock to Post Punk including Roxy Music, Eno, Sparks, John Cale, B-52s and
Ultravox. Disc Two - Post Modern Pop including Buggles, Grace Jones, Kid Creole,
Alan Vega, Propaganda and U2. Disc Three - Beats and Beyond including Steinski,
ACT, Pulp, Bomb The Bass, The Orb, Tricky and Portishead 46 tracks. Universal.
