████ Jalapeno Records is at the epicentre of the ████
████ UKÆs funkiest dance labels. With international ████
████ stars Kraak & Smaak and home grown talent ████
████ Smoove & Turrell as well as some of the ████
████ daddies of the scene like Skeewiff, the ████
████ label's sound is difficult to pigeonhole. Fun ████
████ and funky, generally upbeat but sometimes ████
████ emotional, the sound encompasses funk, breaks, ████
████ lounge and most other varieties of beats that ████
████ make you dance. ████
████ ████
████ At a time when DJÆs have become bored of a ████
████ night of monotonous linear beats, Jalapeno ████
████ makes a play to bring some soul back to the ████
████ dancefloor. Whether thatÆs the electronic ████
████ diversity of Kraak & Smaak, the upbeat ████
████ northern soul of John Turrell belting his ████
████ heart out, the ever evolving sounds of ████
████ Bristolians Boca 45 & Parker (The Beekeepers) ████
████ or the authentic funk of Dr Rubberfunk and ████
████ Soopasoul û you just know that you are ████
████ listening to a Jalapeno tune. ████
████ ████
████ The second in the series that is Jalapeno Funk ████
████ once again explores all things good on the ████
████ dancefloor. It's mainly a family affair ████
████ blending funk, breaks, disco, lounge, house, ████
████ hip hop, soul, dub and reggae, all whisked up ████
████ with a heavy dose of cracking vocals, beats ████
████ and bass. ████
████ ████
████ With a little help from friends Crazy P, The ████
████ All Good Funk Alliance, Fort Knox Five, A ████
████ Skillz, Featurecast, Finlay Quaye and Doug ████
████ Lazy, you know that Jalapeno Funk Vol.2 is ████
████ going to be something different, refreshing ████
████ and above all forward thinking funk. ████
