| | 8Bits is the brand new project from two | |
| | stalwarts of the drum and bass scene. Paul | |
| | "Spinback" from the mighty Oxford based duo | |
| | Total Science and the Brazilian raised, | |
| | London based Carlos "S.P.Y" make up the new | |
| | dynamitic duo that is 8Bits. Both Paul and | |
| | Carlos have enjoyed mass critical acclaim and | |
| | success releasing music over the last decade | |
| | on a wide variety of labels including CIA, | |
| | Metalheadz, Innerground, Digital Soundboy, | |
| | Soul:R and Med School. Now's come the time | |
| | for these two to join forces under a brand | |
| | new alias called 8 Bits. Now signed to Shy | |
| | FX's Digital Soundboy label, "So Good" and | |
| | "On Your Mind" featuring Riya on vocals is | |
| | their debut release and is already gaining | |
| | critical acclaim and support right across the | |
| | scene from the likes of Goldie, Fabio, DJ | |
| | Marky, High Contrast and many more. | |
| | | |
| | "So Good" is a deep roller, with haunting | |
| | strings and a creeping moody bassline, | |
| | brought together by a strong vocal sample. On | |
| | the flipside "On Your Mind" features the | |
| | atmospheric vocals of Riya, a regular Total | |
| | Science collaborator and again has "deep | |
| | roller" stamped all over it, complimented | |
| | with crisp techy beats. | |
