   |   A flugelhorn-led quartet performance of an original ballad that      |
   |   exudes warmth and tenderness. There are sensitive contributions      |
   |   from the full-bodied double bass and the leader Saada at the         |
   |   piano, but it's the luminous sonority of the flugelhorn which        |
   |   characterises this cut. The burnished width of tone and              |
   |   thoughtful, searching melodic lines evoke a depth of feeling         |
   |   similar to Chet Baker's later, mature work; melancholy but not       |
   |   despairing, reflective but not despondent.                           |
