The next release from Revolucion Records sees the welcome return of one of
the most recent signings to their artist rosta, Mexican based Dj and
producer Xavi P, with 2 underground tracks showcasing a much more deeper
sound than on his previous release.
Since the turn of the year this
talented young man has worked tirelesly to build on his already impressive
back catalogue of music that he has worked on the last couple of years,
here with his second release in as many months he is again showing just
why everyone behind the label rate him so highly. If these first 2
releases on Revolucion are anything to go by this young star certainly
does have a bright future ahead.
"La Cabana Beja" kicks things off with
its twisted tech house beats smothered in dark atmospheric undertones and
tribalesque rhythms, definately for the more underground sounding
dancefloors. Staying on the underground tip the excellent "El Capricho En
Puerta De Alcala" borders both tech house and techno alike, taking things
up a notch from the title track with its driving drums and percussion,
haunting vocal and unmistakable use of horns.
