A host of Bristol's finest souljahs including Pinch, Peverelist, Gemmy and RSD
rework a handful of cuts from the DJ Stryda-helmed 'Transform I' sessions. With
his Sufferah's Choice label operating at the heart of Bristol's bass culture,
he's held in very high regard by the city's dub heads, hence the reverent and
respectful set of revisions within. Pinch offers up the fat man roll of 'From
The Foundation', hauling out a seriously sub-loaded 4/4 steppers special
featuring Dub Judah. Gemmy cuts straight to a digidub future with 'City Walls'
featuring Ras Addis, and RSD's 'More Jah Songs' aims for the rootical vibes
with a big man stepper featuring Tena Stelin. Our favourite has to be
Peverelist's 'Strictly Ital', tearing down the walls of Babylon with darkside
synth stabs and abyssal subs to quake yer foundations. Buy the set and you'll
