This is what all the real britcore heads waited for. After several rumors
from the last years, Direkt Action from Hamburg/Germany finally released
their Album containing all the essential hits from 1993 to 2008. Check
out MC Overkill aka B-Low from "Digger Dance" (Eimsbush Recs.) and DJ
Onslord performing their hardcore skills back in the days. Besides some
tracks wellknown from several jam appearances like "Streets of Hamburg"
from the early 90s or "Ignore" which was released and spreaded as demo on
tape, you will also find some more actual tracks like "Victim of drugs"
with a Souls of Mischief "93 till infinity"-flavored instrumental. Direkt
Action's characteristics remain in deep lyrics by holding up the flag for
"fighting against sexism, facism and racism" and their delicious
assortment of samples from movies like "The Streets of San Francisco" or
"Army of darkness". This vinyl was released as a regular edition of 250
pieces, in a special limited edition - containing a bonus 7" and a poster
- only 100 co

As special Bonus for the 100 pieces limited edition of their album,
Direkt Action released also a 7" inch containing two live recordings of
stage appearances from the past. Guess what, "Streets of Hamburg" was
mastered by no one else than DJ Mad of the "Absolute Beginner" bringing
back the flavor of the good old hardcore X-Mas jams in Hamburg - in this
case 1993! The second track was mastered by Mr. Seon & DJ Gato (Huntah)
and gives you a "direkt fuck the mash up mix". Hamburg hardcore will
never die!
