   |   After a first go at crazy and multiform house on the label           |
   |   Pumpkin', Jackson Fourgeaud made an auto produced 4 tracks vinyl     |
   |   in 1998.                                                             |
   |                                                                        |
   |   Re-released a few months later on the label Sound of Barclay, his    |
   |   "Sense Juice EP" under the pseudonym Jackson & his computer band,    |
   |   was followed by EP Jackson's "Gourmet", two weird records that       |
   |   made their mark.                                                     |
   |                                                                        |
   |   The Computer Band, i.e. Jackson, seduced both press & Djs, which     |
   |   led him to remix Vanessa Paradis, Femi Kuti, Free Form Five (on      |
   |   Classic), Ark, M, Marc Collin, Shaun Christopher and Archive.        |
   |                                                                        |
   |   Electronica, bleep noises, experimental neo-P-funk and dadaist       |
   |   disco all clash together on Jackson's new single "Utopia", a         |
   |   preview of what's to come on his new album scheduled for September   |
   |   2003. Hybrid, uncontained, baroque and mutant, Jackson's music has   |
   |   matured and distanced itself from the dance floors and gained in     |
   |   futurist and introspective expertise. The ranges (organic) of the    |
   |   new tracks are the fruit of adventurous trials and tribulations in   |
   |   the domain of sound, recorded in a home studio which sometimes of    |
   |   course is synonymous of chaos.                                       |
   |                                                                        |
   |   In the self titled track on the maxi, his mother, Paula Moore,       |
   |   sings a chorus both ethereal and enigmatic, in the style of a        |
   |   celestial supermarket choir from the year 3025. Some will remember   |
   |   her hit from the 80's "Valparaiso". Jackson has succeeded in         |
   |   constructing an unstructured cathedral of sound on a background of   |
   |   groovy non-rhythm, and an abrasive and claustrophobic utopia. The    |
   |   B-side "Radio Caca" is a take off on FM formatted House music and    |
   |   a secret tribute to Queen. "L'Appendice" is a short & sharp          |
   |   interlude.                                                           |
