Release.Info :
Once in the company of Miles Davis û as musician, composer and producer
(äTutuô) û Marcus Miller is also still active under his own name and has been
for a long time, as bass player, saxophonist and clarinetist. He has been part
of countless productions, such as Chaka Khan, Grover Washington jr. and many,
many more. However itÆs not just in the studio where he presents outstanding
work which proves this live recording, where he presents himself as great live
bass player and band leader. This recording shows a tight and coordinated band.
Above it all of course the spirit of Miles Davis, whose sound Miller influenced
decisive in DavisÆ last years. Also outstanding are Dean Brown on the guitar
and Poogie Bell on the drums. Outstanding horn arrangements makes the sound
full.
