ok, once upon a time there was this mad benton 12" from someone
called sirius mo, mad benton was former berlin record label (we
want to use this space to give a little shout to the boys !!!)
two year later this 12" somehow arrived at the sonar kollektiv
office and hit the record player very hard, basically we couldn't
get "cuba" off this record player & we couldn't stop bangin' our
heads big time.
so the man called after the brightest star in our solar system
(sirius) was contacted by us and asked for more and new tracks and
old kai from mad benton allowed us to re-release "cuba". we're
proud to present a big little talent (who's also an old time
graffiti artist and took care of the 12" label artwork) from
berlin koepenick with his keyboard funk madness and his
girl-friend providing these vocal bits.
may the funk be with you ! we hope you do like it as much as we do
! ... and there's more to come from sirius mo.
