Release Notes :
The third and final 12" to be spawned from Ben Klock's 'Berghain 04' mix
presents relative newcomer Jonas Kopp, and his own edit of the prolific
Echologist aka Brendon Moeller. Kopp's 'Michigan Lake' is one of those stone
solid Chicago-stye bangers that Klock favours so strongly in his sets; a
pounding driver leavened by skilled surface movements and swirling hi-end
timbres for a deadly effect. Klock meanwhile provides his own edit of 'Dirt',
teasing the dry yet effervescent textures of the original into a cavernous
throbber spaced out with Berlin stabs for that buck 'n pivot movement 'pon the
floor. Smart.
