Delorean are an electro-pop four piece from Barcelona. Their music slots like a
greased hot dog into that happy indie dance spot between Air France, El Guincho
and Delphic, combining yelpy male vocals with spiky, shiny guitars, euphoric
synths and sprightly percussion so irresistible even the shyest indie kids will
be compelled to shake out a twee move or two. The 'Ayrton Senna EP' was
released last year on Barcelona's Mushroom Pillow label, featuring four tracks
that Pitchfork couldn't help convulsing over, spilling heaps of praise on their
innate knack for utopian New Order melodies and restless dance beats
referencing '90s piano house with an instant pop thrill. If El Guincho, Toro Y
