a spacious batch of future jazz cuts -- selected from the compost
catalog by united future organization, and laid back to back in a
non-stop package of wonderful tunes! the focus here is on some of
the mellower work on the label -- the great bossa, jazz, and easy
tunes that often get lost in the flux of the dance-based singles
from the compost imprint. there's a classic sound to many of the
numbers -- with elements of 60s and 70s instrumental work layered
through atmospheric and downtempo production that still retains a
lot of soul. titles include "blue lotus" by fauna flash, "crag"
by salvador group, "allee der kosmonauten" by jazzanova, "o
preguicoso" by intuit, "torture" by micatone, "goddess" by pathless,
"us vs them" by procreation, and "world of kyoto" by four ears.
