Release Notes:
Electric Bazar Cie (that means "Company") has been
criss-crossing european roads for 10 years now,
scouring the stages of festivals and clubs, giving
more than 600 gigs.
Like a little circus, closer to Ted Browning's
Freaks Parade than of the Circus of Moscow,
Electric Bazar makes its way on the edge of the
music industry, offering us a free music that
smells like sweat, cold tobacco, and yesterday's
alcohol.
Born in 1998, the band then plays as an acoustic
formation in the streets and bars before jumping in
a van in order to discover far away countries
(Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Bosnia, Germany,
Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Nederlands, United
Kingdom...).
These trips and encounters will consolidate the
band. Quickly, thanks to the hearty welcome of a
growing audience charmed by their energetic and
sincere performances, the band will play mainly on
bigger stages. Electricity ! The glowing tubes of
their amplifiers remind to the five musicians their
passion for rock'n'roll ! Nevertheless, they will
keep their taste for transtylistic crashes that are
the foundations of their music.
In 2005, "Retire Tes Doigts" ("Hands OFF !"), first
studio album, is issued on Irfan, label founded by
the famous french band "Les Ogres De Barback". The
second album, "Tamboo", is issued in 2007. 2009 is
the time for a live album, called "En Concert", and
a third studio album is already in the
pre-production phase... During all those years,
Electric Bazar has been touring relentlessly but
hey... Rock'n'roll is their mission !
