LFO ::::::

LFO hail from Leeds and originally comprised of ::::::
Mark Bell and Gez Varley. They were signed to ::::::
Warp Records in early 1990 on the strength of a ::::::
few rough demos they sent to the directors of ::::::
Warp Records. LFO moved into the spotlight in ::::::
1990 with the success of their 1st single "LFO" ::::::
which was a top 20 hit. ::::::

After the release of their 2nd album "Advance" ::::::
in 1996 Mark and Gez decided to go their ::::::
separate ways. Mark Bell retained the working ::::::
name LFO and remains signed to Warp Records. ::::::
::::::
The 1st of Mark's solo projects was the ::::::
co-production of the BJork album "Homogenic". ::::::
He's also been busy remixing for an assortment ::::::
of artists including, Radiohead, Gus Gus and ::::::
Sabres of paradise. ::::::

The 3rd LFO album, entitled "Sheath", was ::::::
released last month. ::::::
::::::
Luke Vibert ::::::

Luke is one of Warp Records latest signing and ::::::
he's just released his 1st album on the label, ::::::
"Yoseph". He's spent some 10 years releasing ::::::
music for everyone else including, Rephlex, ::::::
Ninja Tune, Virgin, Mo Waxààà. A Cornwall ::::::
contempory and long time associate of Richard ::::::
D. "Aphex Twin" James, Luke Vibert has released ::::::
music under various pseudonyms including the ::::::
Off-Kilter funk of Wagon Christ. ::::::

Ed Handley and Andy Turner met while they were ::::::
at school in the early 80's. Shortly after they ::::::
formed a breakdancing crew called the Def ::::::
Dquad. Later on in their musical careers they ::::::
decided to form as the outfit "Plaid". In this ::::::
time they've being doing their fair share of ::::::
touring America and Europe and are about to hit ::::::
the road again. Plaid and the Warp Records crew ::::::
will be doing a London date at the end of the ::::::
month... ::::::
