██▌▄▀█ Philippe has been running Bip Hop since the first ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ release of Bip Hop Generation Vol 1 in 2000. Part of ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ the ethos behind the label is to put out records that ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ you wouldn't expect to hear. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Bip Hop is best known for the Bip Hop Generation ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ volumes. These volumes consist of six musicians who ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ put together around 15 minutes of music which they ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ wouldn't usually write. Once again the philosophy of ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ putting doing the unexpected is at the heart of Bip ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Hop Generation Volumes. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ The label also put out a CD called 'Sound Polaroid'. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ The idea behind this came from an exhibition held in ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ the ICA where Londoners were asked to contribute ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ sounds and images of London. Scanner and Tonne ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ decided to put these together on a CD along with ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ sounds from Tokyo, Montreal and New York. ░██▌▄▀
