Release Notes:
The band started at the end of 2007 as an initiative of musicians of various
local heroes bands from their hometown, e.g. Les Chombes or LFT, which already
have played with well known bands like Burning Heads, Uncommenmenfrommars, Inner
Terrestrialsà etc...And which were involved in some activities in various scenes
almost everywhere in France...
The five members of Foolish only have one wish: to be on stage! The young and
dynamic quintet is to find their own best mix navigating in between different
styles of punk rock'n'roll, hardcore and ska created by such bands like Leftover
Crack, Union Jack, Rancid, The Flatliners, Against Me, Freygolo, Dirty Fonzy and
much more.. Well perfect mix between Fat Wreck Chords and Hellcat Records...
For the last year and half, Foolish was on stage more than sixty times with lots
of well known bands (Union Jack, Guerilla Poubelle, Nine Eleven, Charly Fiasco
etcà) all over France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg etcà But thatÆs not
enough: the will be touring this summer all over Europe and they will play in
Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria etc..
After recording a 5 tunes demo, Foolish released their very 1st EP after
spending a summer in a studio.
ôSoft Armsö was released last October thanks to a coproduction (Tools Records
and Chicken Walk Records)..
To be more activist, they created their own label (Tools Records) and they book
shows in their hometown, have a large punk distro etcà They have all the tools
to tour as much as they canà Next to comeà
