│ Release Info: │
│ "I always wanted to have my own style, and not replicate anybody │
│ else," explains artist, rapper, musician, filmmaker Kid Acne and │
│ Edna to his friends. "Once I got a style it was just a case of │
│ how to present it, the graffiti vibe being to 'get up'. │
│ Personally, I don't just want to keep it on one format, as far │
│ as just painting, I've tried to get up on every format, film, │
│ music and illustration." │
│ │
│ Zub Zub Rockers takes you back to the vital essence of hip hop │
│ in its inquisitive youth before it got corrupted in it │
│ adolescence, by sex, money and drugs and became the airbrushed │
│ fantasies we hear today. Kid Acne is a modern day hip hop │
│ renaissance man. │
│ │
│ │
│ Enjoy! │

│
│ soup was founded in early 2002, with the intention of releasing
│ the hip-hop, trip-hop, lo-fi and turntablism that has been slept
│ on by other groups. We're a small, friendly group with a real
│ passion for our music, who're fed up of the overly competitive,
│ elitist and aggressive attitude of certain groups.
│

│
│ GROUP NEWS:
