Brighton's Tom Denney, formerly of Help She Can't Swim, is the man behind
Lonely Ghosts, recording under the alias since 2006. His latest single is a
tour de force in homespun, electronically-enhanced pop, throwing down raw,
machined beats, emo-ish vocals and immense choruses on 'Come Down From The
Mountain' while 'Ghosts Of Mice' takes on a slightly more stripped feel that
winningly conjures up images of Denney pouring his heart out over late night
Casio sessions in a spare room somewhere. Adding plenty of value to the
package, these two lead tracks are supplemented by a further two B-sides,
'Forever Distortion' and 'Game Faces On', both of which are exclusive to this
release.
