█ █ "I received this tape around two days ago from Todestrieb █ █
█ █ records. In the two days that I've owned it, it's been in █ █
█ █ my tape player each one, as it truly is awesome black █ █
█ █ metal. I've ran through a lot of black metal bands just by █ █
█ █ searching the internet, but you sometimes find gems by █ █
█ █ blind buying off distributions and adding another tape to █ █
█ █ your collection, this being one of them. █ █
█ █ █ █
█ █ █ █
█ █ The vocals are supreme for the atmosphere that is created, █ █
█ █ and the production quality even adds more to the ambience █ █
█ █ of the album. The first track starts off with infectious █ █
█ █ riffs that seem to pull strong through the whole album, █ █
█ █ though it's rather obvious that the vocals carry the sound. █ █
█ █ The drums go consistently well through the first song, █ █
█ █ fluctuating between ride and snare taps, which often change █ █
█ █ through the presence of the opening track. The guitars █ █
█ █ obviously do not come into clearly throughout the whole █ █
█ █ album, but the way everything is produced there is no need █ █
█ █ for blistering guitar speed or even mediocre production. █ █
█ █ Simply put, this album is raw and unproduced. In █ █
█ █ conclusion, the only thing that seems to be an annoyance is █ █
█ █ the 10 second long feedback ear puncture you're treated to █ █
█ █ in the of the opening track, along with some guitar babble █ █
█ █ and instrument clashing. █ █

█ █ The Deathcrush cover is perfected the way Mayhem would've █ █
█ █ wanted it to be: Simple, raw, and tortured. The vocals, █ █
█ █ often compared to Dead (for some odd reason on another █ █
█ █ review), poison the ears of the listener, however in a good █ █
█ █ way. I've heard a few "black metal" bands cover Mayhem █ █
█ █ tracks, but this by far is the best attempt at doing so, as █ █
█ █ it actually contains the feeling that Mayhem were trying to █ █
█ █ capture when they themselves recorded it. █ █
█ █ █ █
█ █ █ █
█ █ The end track, "Terror Revelation", seems to a conclusion █ █
█ █ of the previous two tracks, only causing more destruction █ █
█ █ in its path and upholding nothing clean. Vocals again show █ █
█ █ off a good talent, as they're again drenched in hate. Now, █ █
█ █ this song doesn't necessarily distinguish itself from the █ █
█ █ other two, but it does perpetuate the album's meaning and █ █
█ █ destroys more victims within the path. The drums have a █ █
█ █ clear presence, as do the ear-shattering riffs and █ █
█ █ poisoning atmosphere. █ █

█ █ In conclusion, this album is raw and unproduced, which █ █
█ █ bring me to the conclusion that it's not for the weak. █ █
█ █ Don't buy the album if you're looking for something clean, █ █
█ █ produced, and perfected in a manner that I see a bunch of █ █
█ █ new black metal bands doing. Buy it if you're looking for █ █
█ █ something hateful, unproduced, raw, and is pure madness, █ █
█ █ add this to your collection." █ █
