▓ One of the first-ever major independent releases to ▓
▓ emerge from the Colorado underground scene, the ▓
▓ Procussions trio of Stro The 89th Key, Mr. J Medeiros ▓
▓ and Resonant formed in the late 90's in conjuction ▓
▓ with the local radio show Basementalism. The group ▓
▓ caught an early break when their debut 12" single ▓
▓ "All That It Takes" was picked up for distribution by ▓
▓ ABB Records' own Beni B, who may have noticed that ▓
▓ Stro's smooth jazzy production resembled that of ▓
▓ another ABB affiliate, the Sound Providers. After ▓
▓ success with their follow-up single "Leave Her ▓
▓ Alone", the Procussions signed their full-length ▓
▓ album to Traffic Entertainment (who brought you the ▓
▓ recent smash Viktor Vaughn "Vaudeville Villain"), who ▓
▓ present to you their specially-priced debut album "As ▓
▓ Iron Sharpens Iron". 15 tracks including the two ▓
▓ above hit singles as well as "Lights Off", "Move Yer ▓
▓ Self" and "We Gotta (Get Up)". Guest appearances from ▓
▓ Vice Versa of Deux Process, cuts by DJ Spryte One of ▓
▓ Platter Pirates, and DJ Vajra. ▓
