Debut releas from producer Cessa on his own Missing Link label, exploring the
gaps between dub-tech and electronica with two original tracks backed with an
ace SBTRKT remix. It's easy to spot Cessa's influences on both 'Liquidate' and
'Movement' with an obvious love of Martyn, Scuba, Mount Kimbie and Ramadanman
poured into two techy twisting constructions for the floor. The best track
however is SBTRKT's remix of 'Recon' on the flip, with Garage-synced hi-hats and
Detroit synths sounding compatible with the likes of Joy Orbison or A Made Up
Sound. Smart gear for fans of electronic-edged post-garage mutations.
