█ . │▓ █
█ . │▓ ò æBuenosauriosÆ is a new album by Acho Estol, who was the leader of La █
█ . │▓ Chicana - the highly successful Buenos Aires tango band formed in 1996, █
█ . │▓ who released 5 albums (3 on Galileo). █
█ . │▓ █
█ . │▓ ò With this new group he continues his exploration of the darker, rough █
█ . │▓ edges of tango - the social depravation and the hopelessness, but also the █
█ . │▓ romantic nostalgia - his songs are sketches for a bleak theatre cabaret, █
█ . │▓ with sometimes unexpected, dadaist humour. █
█ . │▓ █
█ . │▓ ò The album title is an ironic allusion to the image of the tango in █
█ . │▓ Argentina today. On the one hand tango embodies the memory of a glittering █
█ . │▓ past golden era - an integral part of the Argentine national sentiment. On █
█ . │▓ the other hand, it reflects a new generation of æpower-tanguerosÆ with a █
█ . │▓ more alternative, rebellious outlook. █
