exposing new and upcoming talent from the label, as well as artists
that you may be seeing more often around the scene. Harking back to the
sound and feel of the labelÆs early releases, it is one part æSquadronÆ
and one part æAuroraÆ, but with several steps forward, starting off
strong and uptown and then slowly bleeding out into some undulating
ambient. XhaleÆs upbeat cluttered style blends into TwerkÆs glitch-nod
idm, then rolling more around SenseÆs emotiveness, which then bounces
into Pretty Boy CrossoverÆs mellow bump. The cd then takes a turn down
into some new and chilled out material by Tstewart (aka Machinedrum),
plus other lush ambience by Blamstrain, Sabi, and Semiomime, who cover
a wide range and scope of ambient sound. Recommended.
