       │ About J-Rod:                                                 ││
       │ With a recording engineer for a father, it's hardly          ││
       │ surprising Jared Wheeler became a musician himself. From a   ││
       │ bunker in Kansas City, Missouri, he and his production       ││
       │ partner Pat Nice create profoundly San Francisco-tinged      ││
       │ house for a growing roster of independent dance labels.      ││
       │ Safe-in-Sound and Roam Recordings were the first labels to   ││
       │ pick up the baton, later passing it to San Diego's Alluv and ││
       │ Bella Records.                                               ││
