Canadian DJ and producer Paranoid Jack turns his funky driving house sound to
the Michael Jackson classic and delivers up a mixthat we guarantee will knock
your pants off. He launches with the familiar hook of that good old Cevin Fisher
tribal drum line, but he quickly beefs it up with a throbbing meaty bassline.
Out of the depths the filter opens out a wicked piece of vocoded robotic speech
that quickly establishes the funky futuristic nature of the mix. When JacksonÆs
vocals finally do come in they sit in perfect accompaniment to the music,
no pasted on feel here. The whole thing is a distinct Paranoid Jack fusion of
progressive house and funky west coast flavour. In fact the track is so strong
that it could easily stand alone without the Jackson vocal, so when it does
finally drop in itÆs just icing on the cake.
