  ▒  Following the mayhem that was Ellen Alien's screwed-up 'Edbeermund',  ▒
  ▒  Smash TV bring us their debut LP, and boy it's a shocker. The         ▒
  ▒  opening 'Nasty Girl' sounding like a mad electroid take on Prince's   ▒
  ▒  fabulous 'Erotic City', with a bit of man parrish thrown in for good  ▒
  ▒  measure. This really is everything that electroid pop should be -     ▒
  ▒  spannered, crunchy, just that little bit dark and totally             ▒
  ▒  unforgetably funky! 'Arcade' smashes up the asteroids in fine style,  ▒
  ▒  a marathon crunch-up that you'll barely be able to keep up with, but  ▒
  ▒  you'll do it with a smile! 'Look at the Screen' twists-up 4/4 into a  ▒
  ▒  vocoded machinery anthem, once again echoes of vintage Prince lurk    ▒
  ▒  somewhere in the mix, but this is a world where everything's turned   ▒
  ▒  upside down and, consequently, sounds very much like the start of     ▒
  ▒  something altogether new in the world of dancefloor weaponry.         ▒
  ▒  'Confused' sounds like Atom Heart rediscovering his electroid best,   ▒
  ▒  perfectly cut-up and blissfully melodic underneath, the vocal almost  ▒
  ▒  soothing in contrast to its surroundings.....loveliest lovely. 9      ▒
  ▒  tracks wide, every one a winner....and utterly essential!             ▒
