The term ôSuper-Groupö can only describe the formation of two of the most
creative and musical legendary bands of the past 30 years into the new band
YOSO.
Formed out of TOTOÆs brilliant vocalist Bobby Kimball and the creative force of
YES members, Tony Kaye and Billy Sherwood, it does indeed equal the magic of YES
with the voice of TOTO.
However, YOSO is much more than a combination of two classic rock groups. YOSO
has combined their musical talents to produce an album of new music, which comes
together with a live CD which sees the band plays some of old and new classics.
Their collective mission is to make the next decade one where YOSOÆs music will
be held up alongside their classic rock backgrounds as a band as important as
TOTO and YES.
From rock FM to pop-rock, the trio shuffles many influences and does not forget
including perfectly gauged guitars and catchy choruses, obvious trademarks of
TOTO and YES - '90125' and 'Big Generator' eras.
Disc one features 12 new melodic rock songs at a very high technical level and
very well crafted, packed catchy hooks and a very good vocal performance.
Disc two is a live disc with liver versions of some YOSO songs along with some
of TOTO and YES biggest hits and a cool Yes-medley.
