Release Notes :
The long term, super-productive story of class-act producers Phonique and
Tigerskin continues with the next installment on Ladies & Gentlemen. Over 4
tracks (and one more digital bonus) the pair explore their passionate, freaky
and funky sides in this, perhaps the most functional release on the label
yet!nnPhonique throws us two hot ones with ‚Sandman‘ and ‚Longdrink‘.
The former skips through tripping, tooly and percussive territories while the
latter goes all out with addictive rolling bass and hedonistic synth passages.
Marrying an old-school flavour with high-end, modern moments, Phonique‘s side
of this unmissable 12‘‘ is just as strong as his legendary DJ
sets!nnTigerskin then takes centre stage with ‚Loop Back In Time‘ and
‚Tony‘s Riff‘. ‚...In Time‘ grows from a rolling drum array into a
surging disco fueled killer, that whisks us away to a brighter age with its
soaring strings! ‚Tony‘s Riff‘, then, is a similarly expressive jazz-based
jam that throws down some super-funky drums in a fusion of uplifting
after-hours deep house and cutting edge techno emotions. nTigerskin also
contributes the digital bonus track in the shape of the empowering 80's tinged
'She's Gone'.n
