Batak Groove
When you have to battle to secure a tune, you know youre on to something good,
when you have battle Made to Play for a tune, you know you have an anthem. Batak
Groove maybe has four or five elements in it and it still has more groove and
addictive rhythm than the boatloads of over produced House and Garage out and
about right now. Pounding 808 sub kicks and a hypnotic Indonesian percussive
loop, youll find yourself humming the drums.
Around
There is an effervescent upbeat quality to Julios beats and Around is a shining
example of how to encapsulate, press to vinyl and then release pure sunshine.
With low end to put modern Dubstep producers to shame and a skippy rhythm thatll
wind every girls waist within earshot, Around proves that the effortless South
American finesse and vibrancy can be found in UK music (if not our football).
