▓ Funk) - a strong smell or stink ▓
▓ ▓
▓ "....Outside the gallery museums, real emotion ▓
▓ breathes in the polluted air of the city and spews it ▓
▓ back at us in strange forms..." ▓
▓ ▓
▓ (London Funk) - is to music what graffiti is to art. ▓
▓ A collage composed of fragments of the city, a masked ▓
▓ mosaic of mixed memories catering to the urban magpie ▓
▓ ▓
▓ "....The city is the true nomad, where all cultures ▓
▓ come to exchange their moments and lose themselves" ▓
▓ ▓
▓ Funk is the rebel child running loose on the streets, ▓
▓ picking the pockets of cultures that come to spend ▓
▓ their pennies in the chaos that is London Town. The ▓
▓ wall of London Funk is covered with sprayed tags, ▓
▓ mutant trademarks from one person cooperations that ▓
▓ have refused the prostitution of the stock ▓
▓ exchange...... ▓
▓ ▓
▓ Check the evolution: The London Funk Allstars move ▓
▓ more towards their own musician based sound with ▓
▓ their second album, progressing even further away ▓
▓ from the sample-led origins of the DJ Toolz series. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ This is the sound of the London Funk.....21st century ▓
▓ Soul Music for those who won't Shrink to Fit. Stay ▓
▓ lahge. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ More Ninja Tune ish. This is the vinyl version which ▓
▓ adds 3 bonus tracks not found anywhere else. The full ▓
▓ title is "Flesh Eating Disco Zombies Versus The ▓
▓ Bionic Hookers From Mars". Enjoy ▓
