█░ (some German cells fell into the mix...) in 1998 in an attic ░█
█░ in the Yamabierstein City. Since the moment of her birth, ░█
█░ Lucil began to explore the world through laughter and music, ░█
█░ using her alter ego's life stories to examine the frailty ░█
█░ and hilarity of humankind. In 2001 Lucil came out with her ░█
█░ first 10-song CD entitled "Frozenhosen", recorded at the ░█
█░ Fembots Junkshop. Soon orders poured in for her traditional ░█
█░ hosemusik. Mixing carnival waltzes with rap, rock, ska, ░█
█░ country, new wave, and rockabilly, Lucil puts the oomph in ░█
█░ umlaut. For both the sensible and the nonsensical, Lucil has ░█

█░ This is the debut album from Lederhosen Lucil (aka Krista ░█
█░ Muir), which is a reincarnation of her first CD, ░█
█░ Frozenhosen, plus three "special edition tracks" (so her ░█
█░ website says). Or it's the second album, if you count her ░█
█░ first 6 track cassette back in 1999. Now with a second real ░█
█░ album out, this is a more basic sound for Lucil, with lots ░█
█░ more synth keyboard fun. The humor is all there, with some ░█
█░ really grand lines ("This song is dedicated to the Petshop ░█
█░ Boys, and I think you know who you are"), along with the ░█
█░ wide variety of synthetic styles ░█
█░ If you think the music is wacky, you really need to see ░█
█░ Lederhosen Lucil live. The show I saw was just her and ░█
█░ keyboards, but that was grand fun, with stories and ░█
█░ faux-German wackiness (yes, she's French-Canadian). She does ░█
█░ shows with more musicians, from which more wild stories have ░█
