Groundbreaking early work from Wilson Simonal -- a terrific
blend of soul, samba, and groovy orchestrations -- the kind of
record that had a huge influence on the Brazilian sound of the
late 60s! The orchestrations are by Cesar Mariano, and have a
joyous bounce all the way through -- grooving in a really
"live" sort of setting, one that brings out the best in
Simonal's wonderful voice! The whole thing's a beautiful
Brazilian groove party -- and titles include "Pra Que?", "Os
Escravos De Jo", "Nem Vem Que Nao Tem", "Para Pedro", and
"Discussao".
