│ Gillieron and McArthur - Now It's Dark - Turbo 016 ││

│ The Reverberations boys followup their recent successes in ││
│ the house arena with this manic techno peaker. This is ││
│ another track that is not for the faint of heart. The A ││
│ side cut, "Now It's Dark," combines heavy house tempo beats ││
│ with a bumpin bassline, then builds tension with a ││
│ lacerating high pitch synth grind that got me flashing on ││
│ old Cristian Vogel (!!!). There's a real groove ││
│ underpinning the madness though, and when the break ││
│ comes...all I can say is, woooooosHHHHH!!!!! Drop a vocal ││
│ after this one and watch the place go apeshit. The flipside, ││
│ "Now It's Not," shows promise too, and has some synth sounds ││
│ that almost recall rock distortion guitar! Bit of a trick to ││
│ mix though. ││
