A very different bossa album than usual -- recorded by this
young and modern-inflected trio! The basic lineup is similar to
other combos of the time -- piano, bass, and drums -- but the
group's got a floating, almost mystical sound, one that's
inflected by flute and other reed work, to create an
almost-spooky take on the music! Still plenty of nice little
groovers -- and a really unique album from mid 60s Brazil!
Titles include "Ginga", "Blusao", "Plenitude", "Carcara",
"Inutil Paisagem", "Yemanja", and "Jovem".
